In the third quarter of 2024, the top film and television applications on the unified platform in Latin America exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Disney+ saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $2.6M by the end of September. However, its weekly downloads showed a declining trend from over 1.1M in early July to approximately 600K by the end of the quarter. Meanwhile, weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of about 13.1M in mid-August before settling at 11.8M by the end of September.

Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies maintained a steady revenue stream, with weekly earnings hovering around $1.2M to $1.6M throughout the quarter. Downloads decreased from 1.4M in early July to around 740K by the end of September. Active users showed an upward trend, increasing from 18.1M in early July to a peak of nearly 19.9M by late September.

Globoplay: Novelas, séries e + experienced a decline in weekly revenue from $751K in early July to $521K by the end of September. Downloads also decreased, starting at 387K and dropping to 220K. Active users showed fluctuations, peaking at 7.7M at the end of July and then decreasing to 5.8M by the end of September.

ViX: TV, Fútbol y Noticias displayed consistent weekly revenue, with figures ranging from $470K to $794K throughout the quarter. Downloads initially increased, reaching 892K in early August, but declined to 378K by the end of September. Active users started at 7.5M in early July and decreased to 6.3M by the end of the quarter.

Crunchyroll had a stable revenue performance, with weekly earnings around $480K to $530K. Downloads showed a declining trend, starting at 650K in early July and dropping to 406K by the end of September. Active users slightly decreased from 4.4M in early July to 4.1M by the end of the quarter.
